Business and Professional Woman,
Welcome to the website for the Wisconsin Rapids Chapter of Business and Professional Women (WRBPW).
Business and Professional Women/USA (BPW/USA), founded in 1919, is a multigenerational, nonpartisan membership organization with a mission to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. Established as the first organization to focus on issues of workingwomen, BPW/USA is historically a leader in grassroots activism, policy influence and advocacy for millions of workingwomen.
Our local BPW chapter works within the Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point areas to promote the issues of women – from right here in town to across the nation! WRBPW is a not-for-profit organization. We hold fund-raisers each year (including the Community Day Sale Booklets for Younkers) which fund two scholarships offered yearly – one for a traditional female student and one for a nontraditional female student. We also support our community, including sponsoring the Arts and Crafts Fair for the annual Cranberry Blossom Festival.
We meet once per month from September through May – Check out our calendar to get the details on our next meeting or event!
If you’d like more information on BPW/USA or WRBPW visit our Contact Us page. We’d love to hear from you!
And don’t forget – well-behaved women never make history.
